Photo of the Week – Pride and Prejudice, even among impalas!

Posted on Fri January 22, 2016.

The wonderful angle of this image really traces the proud impala rams in a stunning silhouette.  From ground level they seem even more proud and strong – true beauties among the antelopes of the bushveld.

This image was captured by Johan J. Botha during a photographic safari at Indlovu River Lodge.  It was taken from the sunken photographic hide right next to the waterhole – which made the angle for this great image possible.
