Photo of the Week – Keep your eye on the ball baboon…!

No matter your thirst – the role of the leader is to make sure that everything is going according to plan.  This means that he has to be on the lookout for competitors and keep on eye on the discipline in the group – even while having that greatly anticipated sip of water!

This image of a male baboon was captured from the sunken hide by Abraham Brink.  He was part of a recent photographic course at Indlovu River Lodge.  The technical details of the image are as follows:
